We are an adult non-audition choir that is open to anyone who enjoys singing and is looking for an opportunity to perform choral works! We have members who are at all different musical learning levels, and we can adjust to meet you where you are at – give us a try!

REHEARSALS: The Bloomington Chorale rehearses on Monday nights from 7-9 PM at the Bloomington Center for the Arts. Rehearsals for the Winter 2024 concerts have begun and registration is closed! Please come to our December concerts!

SPRING 2025 REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

How to Register for Spring 2025:

• We are asking everyone, including returning members, to register online, to make check-in go more smoothly. Registering does not commit you to the Chorale.
• Dues can be paid in person via cash or check at a rehearsal, or via PayPal or credit card online (click buttons below). Please note for electronic payments there is a $3 processing fee.
• Members can try out the Chorale for two weeks before paying their dues, however members who have not paid their dues are not allowed to take their music home.
• Please note that this year we have updated our Member Handbook as it pertains to our attendance policy and registration limits. You can read it here.

• $90 per session, and scholarships may be available
• No auditions required, only the ability to match pitch, blend with others in your voice section, and a commitment to sing
• 2 sessions per year; fall/winter session (Sept. – Dec.), and spring session (Jan. – May)
• 2 major concerts performed per year at the Schneider Theater, Bloomington Center for the Arts
• Rehearsals every Monday evening from 7-9 PM
• Our spring kickoff event is Saturday, January 11th from 10am – 3pm at the Bloomington Center for the Arts in the Black Box Theater. Please come and check us out!
• First formal rehearsal of spring is Monday, January 13th at 7pm, please arrive 20-30 minutes early to check in and pick up your music

GIVE IT A TRY!
You are welcome to sing with the Chorale for the first two rehearsals of the session at no charge.
